Mala Buni Initiates 2022 FFEP For Public Schools

The Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni has initiated a Free Feeding Program (FFEP) to supply schools in the state with modern research facilities such as laboratories and their equipment.
The programme will also cater for the provision of 10,000 reading materials to students of secondary schools within the state.

As stated by the Governor, “the introduction of the program and appropriation of instructive materials led the state’s government to declare July 1st as Education Day in Yobe“.

He further stated that the materials are expected to have been circulated in Damaturu at the end of this week and claimed that the distribution of the 100,000 reading materials and research center equipment were necessary to bring back the trust and promote standard education in public schools.
“These are part of the measures of the government to develop the education sector for the present and future generations ,” he said.

While commenting on the performance of the education sector of the state so far; the Governor was in the opinion that “We are happy with the state’s exhibition in the schooling area. There are solid motivations to commend the great accomplishments recorded in state’s primary and secondary schools.”

He noticed that a large portion of the schools were utilizing present day teaching methods and applying creative strategies developed by the Ministry of Education in schools.

Today, we can gladly record the accounts of our progress on hard-work and commitment of the state government,” Buni expressed that this achievements were recorded following a recent emergency announcement of crisis in the education sector.

“The taking care of program contains the inception of chicken and eggs into the menu of public boarding schools across the state.”

The Governor confirmed the statement of crisis has yielded amazing results in external examinations.

The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education of Yobe State, Dr. Muhammad Sani, supported the Governor by portraying the achievement recorded recently in the education sector as remarkable.

“Schooling has pushed many strides forward in the state,” he said, “as the future is bright with high performances in national examinations.”

We hope the state continues to record more massive achievements in the future.
